We
use Corel and Adobe Software in a PC environment. Please
submit all vector display artwork in EPS, and CDR formats.
Minimum resolution is 150 dpi and color format is always
CMYK. RGB format may be accepted with the understanding
that there is a good chance of color shift in the RGB
to CMYK conversion process. It's best to create in CMYK.
We do not guarantee converted colors.
PDFs
are generally unsuited for printing and we will need
to recreate your ad in the appropriate formats when
only a PDF is available.
We do not use PDFs directly.
Picture files may be submitted in PSD, TIFF and sometimes
JPEG (High resolution and 2X oversize files). Again,
to maintain colors, it's best to save as TIFF in CMYK
color format.
B&W logo & text ads should be submitted in 800dpi
bitmap TIFF format, 100% CMYK black and not process
black.
Both screen and printer postscript fonts must be submitted
with all artwork that will be altered by our artists.
We will not substitute fonts without prior consent as
font substitution may considerably alter the appearance
of text. We do maintain a considerable font library,
so check with us first.
All artwork must be submitted on CD or DVD. All disks
must be clearly labeled. Artwork may also be emailed
as clearly named files. Files must be emailed as attachments
and NOT embedded in your email. A completed JPEG image
file or printed copy of your ad or art must accompany
all submissions. We must have a reference of how you
want your ad to look. If submitting in person, please
provide a printed copy, if possible.
When in doubt, our artists can create a great ad with
only basic components being supplied. However, the more
information and images that you supply, the better.
When we will be doing the complete ad creation, the
minimum of a text file, MS Word file or even an email
containing vital information is always appreciated and
helps eliminate content errors.
